True Sky Credit Union Sponsors Local Elementary School Model Classroom
OKLAHOMA CITY, January 8 2020 -- True Sky Credit Union
True Sky Credit Union’s Sky Crew, with the help of Graham Construction, recently sponsored a
classroom makeover at Mustang Creek Elementary School.
Branch Manager, Melissa Hacker worked closely with President and CEO, Sean Cahill, and Mustang
Creek Principal Leah Anderson to bring this vision to life. Anderson was able to select an educator from
her staff to help with the planning and execution of the model classroom makeover.
“I just wanted what would be best for educators and students,” says Ms. Thomas, the recipient of the
model classroom. “It was great to be able to bring a variety of ideas and expertise into this to make it into
something that is very kid, user, and teacher friendly.”
Thomas used her diverse background and 21 years of teaching experience to decide which furniture and
technology would be included in the model classroom. She was brought to tears when it was revealed that
the classroom she had designed would belong to her and her students.
“We believe in supporting the education of our future leaders.” says Sean Cahill. “We are thrilled that our
Sky Crew was able to participate in a project that will benefit dozens of deserving students.”
True Sky’s “Sky Crew” is made up of employees that work throughout the year to find ways to improve
and give back to the community.
