Mustang Elementary

Welcome to Mustang Elementary

Dear Mustang Elementary Families,

As we approach the end of yet another school year, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your help and support this year. What a year! It has been an honor to serve Mustang Elementary during this 2020-2021 year! We can all say that we have had our challenges, allowing us to come together better than ever. Please know that everyone who has had the honor of teaching and working with your child at Mustang Elementary is very thankful for your commitment to helping him/her succeed. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please review the information listed below as it pertains to the end of the school year, as well as important information for the 2021-2022 school year:

*The last day of school this year is Thursday, May 20th. The last day is a full day of school. No backpacks are allowed on the last day.

*Don’t forget all items left in Lost & Found will be donated. Reach out to your child’s teacher if you are missing anything.

*Complete online re-enrollment if you haven't done so already. Contact Central Enrollment for any questions, 405-256-6970 or [email protected] If online re-enrollment is not completed by June 1, you may be required to completely re-enroll as a new student which could delay classroom placement in the fall.

*Elementary residency verification will be completed in an online format for the next school year. ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS MUST save a July or August utility bill and submit it sometime in late July. The district will provide a link to all parents when it gets closer to the time. This includes all students who turned in pre-enrollment forms in the spring. No teacher will be assigned until residency has been verified.

*Your child’s 2021-2022 teacher will call you to introduce herself/himself in August--an exact date will be shared at a later time.

* The district calendar can be found online at www.mustangps.org

*We will be evaluating all events throughout the summer, and any changes to dates will be communicated. We will also be sharing information regarding Open House/Meet the Teacher and Grade Level Parent Meetings once it gets closer to August. Thank you for being patient and understanding!

Finally, we want to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and safe summer break. We hope you find time to relax, rest, and spend quality time with your family. We look forward to the 2021-2022 school year with great anticipation and hope for another outstanding year! Your support, encouragement, understanding, trust, and grace mean the world to us! Thank you, Mustang Elementary!

Respectfully,

Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Hodde

Mustang Families & Community,

We understand that some supplies (especially sanitizer and wipes) may be in limited supply, yet still included on many school supply lists.  We appreciate any donation of those "short supply" items to our schools, but they will not be required due to their limited availability.  As always, thank you so much for your generous support!
