Title VI Tutoring

Specifically, as a direct service to students, the Title VI Program provides academic tutoring to eligible Alaska Native and American Indian students.  The tutors also implement and evaluate individual-specific educational learning plans, maintain and evaluate student records, and track academic progress.

Tutoring Options

  • In person
    • No transportation provided
    • Before school tutoring available grades 7-12 only
  • In person Bronco Club
    • No transportation provided
    • Grades 1-6 only

The Process

  • Parent or Teacher must fill out the Tutoring Request Form 
    • Tutoring may start within a week of submitting the form
  • Students and tutor will create short-term and long-term goals that will be shared with the parent, teacher and Title VI staff.
