Middle School Course Registration

This section is for students who are new to MPS for the Spring 2024.  Existing students wishing to re-enroll, should see the window above.  

Middle School Class Registration Instructions for 2023-24

Step #1 
Log in to your student’s Parent Portal account in PowerSchool using a browser, you can not access this feature from the Power School App on a mobile device.

If you do not have an existing Parent Portal account, please email to request an account.  Be prepared to show proof of identity such as a Photo ID. 

Step #2 
Once you are in your student’s account, click on Class Registration on the left hand side.

Step #3 
Click on each section of Core classes and Elective classes to make class selections for your
    student for next year.

• It is extremely important that you complete this with your true intent for your student’s enrollment
  for next year.  Scheduling and staffing decisions for the entire school are determined based on these forms. As a result, future requests that differ from what is selected with this class registration may not be accommodated.

Step #4 
Review your Class selections.

All incoming seventh grade students must show proof of having received one dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) vaccine before attending school in August. To meet this requirement, an immunization record must be provided to the school showing the date your child received the vaccine and a signature or stamp of the doctor or clinic that provided the vaccine. Your student's 2023-2024 schedule will not be released until proof of the vaccine has been provided. It is not necessary to provide proof of the vaccine at this time. You will receive more information about how and when you can provide proof of vaccine in the upcoming months.
