Board Of Education - Mustang ISD (I-069)
The Mustang Public Schools Board of Education consists of five members (one from each election district) who serve a five-year term with one member’s term expiring each year. The Board is governed by and acts within the context of all applicable state and federal laws and is responsible for establishing/updating necessary policies, providing vision for a high-quality educational system and working in partnership with other parents, teachers, business leaders and other stakeholders to ensure high levels of success for students.
The Superintendent of Schools is the Chief Executive Officer for the Board and is responsible for administering Board policies and District regulations.

BOARD MEETINGS
Board meetings are held the second Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Mustang Education Resource Center (MERC) located at 909 S. Mustang Road, Mustang, OK 73064. The meeting is open to the public. Agendas are posted online on the afternoon of the Friday before the meeting. Upcoming meeting dates include:

Streaming Information
Mustang Public Schools will stream meetings on our website to accommodate those unable to attend. Additionally, the entire meeting will be recorded and posted herein. Special meetings will not be video streamed, but audio-only.

Public Participation
As per Board Policy 1035, during regular monthly board meetings, an agenda item is included to allow for public participation so residents of the Mustang School District can address the Board of Education on items that pertain to education and/or the operation of the district. Presentations under Public Participation are limited to five (5) minutes and where several people wish to address the same subject, a spokesperson must be selected. Those residents wishing to address the Board of Education must complete a Request for Public Participation form prior to the scheduled starting time of the regular board meeting. A response may be not be provided at this time. Questions or concerns related to employees will be referred to the superintendent and not permitted during the open meeting.
