Mustang Public Schools Adds Five New Buses Thanks to #Momentum23 Bond Support

(Mustang, Oklahoma – March 4, 2025) – Thanks to the support of Mustang Public Schools (MPS) voters, the district has received five brand-new school buses, enhancing transportation services for students and families. These buses were made possible through the #Momentum23 Bond, a voter-approved initiative designed to support Mustang students by improving district resources and infrastructure.

“This investment in new buses is an exciting step forward for our transportation department,” said Dr. Jason Pittenger, Assistant Superintendent at Mustang Public Schools. “Reliable transportation is a key part of the educational experience, and these new buses will help ensure students arrive at school safely and on time.”

The addition of these buses is part of MPS’s ongoing commitment to providing safe and efficient transportation for students.

A Community Investment in Student Safety

“These new buses are a direct result of our community’s investment in Mustang students,” said Charles Bradley, Mustang Public Schools Superintendent.  “We are incredibly grateful to the voters who supported the #Momentum23 Bond. Their commitment to our students ensures that we can continue providing safe, reliable transportation for years to come.”

The district’s investment in new buses will enhance efficiency, safety, and overall student transportation services, reducing maintenance costs on older vehicles while expanding MPS’s ability to serve its growing student population.

Thank You, Mustang!

Mustang Public Schools extends a heartfelt thank you to the voters and community members who made this fleet expansion possible. Thanks to your support, Mustang students will continue to benefit from safe, modern transportation.
