MHS Expansion Update - February 2026

February's Board of Education meeting included a progress update on the Mustang High School expansion, and it’s exciting to see this project continuing to take shape.

Construction is moving forward across multiple areas of the addition, including the storm shelter and archery range, cafeteria, kitchen, and serving space, functional and life skills classrooms, sensory rooms, and second-floor spaces for e-sports and journalism. Exterior work is also progressing, with waterproofing underway and masonry and metal wall panels coming next.

This expansion is designed to support student safety, increase capacity, and create flexible learning spaces that reflect the wide range of programs offered at Mustang High School.
