#StaffSpotlight - Carrie Miller Wins DECA Advisor of the Year

Mustang High School DECA Advisor Carrie Miller was selected as the Oklahoma DECA Advisor of the Year during the Oklahoma DECA Career Development Conference in Midwest City on February 15-16, 2023. 

"It is an honor to receive this, and I could not have accomplished this  without the support of my DECA students who began the nomination process, the encouraging, supportive administration at Mustang High School, and the support of the Mustang Public Schools School Board."

Each year, Oklahoma DECA recognizes a Chapter Advisor who has gone above and beyond in supporting their local DECA Chapter as well as the state of Oklahoma and preparing students for state and international competition. The Advisor of the Year is selected based on their commitment to professionalism in managing their chapter, preparing members for competition, encouraging members to apply for scholarships, and for contributing to the greater good of Oklahoma DECA by being involved in an advisor leadership role.
