Mrs. Bond’s Biology 1 put water’s superpowers to the test!

High-tension science in action! Mrs. Bond’s Biology 1 students spent their class period testing the limits of water’s superpowers. 💧

Ever wonder why water droplets cling together or bead up on a surface? That’s cohesion and adhesion working their magic! Today, students investigated how mixing in different solutes—like salt, rubbing alcohol, and dish soap—changes water’s surface tension.

The big takeaway? Soap is the ultimate bond-breaker! A single drop completely disrupts water's tight-knit hydrogen bonds, causing that carefully built surface tension to collapse. 🧼✨

Hands-on learning, scientific inquiry, and plenty of carefully counted water droplets in the lab today. Great work, Broncos! 🐴❤️🖤
