MHS Students Attend Health Career Conference Hosted by OKC Thunder
Several Mustang High School students attended a Health Career Conference hosted by the Oklahoma City Thunder on January 13, gaining valuable insight into future careers in the medical field.
During the conference, students heard from a panel of accomplished doctors and medical students who shared their educational journeys and offered advice on pursuing careers in healthcare. Students also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from colleges and career vendors, allowing them to explore postsecondary options and ask questions about medical and health-related pathways.
The day concluded with an exciting Thunder vs. Spurs basketball game. Two students, Michael Vincent and Daniel Nguyen, were recognized for submitting thoughtful and engaging questions to the speaker panel and were rewarded with a memorable courtside experience during Thunder player introductions.
The students represented Mustang High School with professionalism and enthusiasm, making the experience both educational and rewarding.
