The Mustang DECA Chapter attended DECA State Contest February 15-16, 2023 in Midwest City. All 20 competitors were finalists, and they received the following awards:
* Second Place Winners- Jacqueline Garcia-Esparza, Diana Nguyen(2 events) Zack Pruett, Joanna Quezada
* First Place Winners-Bella Hall, Cayeden Doudney, Katie Barnett, Ashton Carruth, Kenley Dillon, Carson Csizmadia, Lexi Routson, Aden Monzon, Kenny Tran
These top winners will be representing Oklahoma at the International DECA Competition in Orlando, Florida in April.
DECA State Officer Saniya Shibu completed her service as the Vice President of Marketing and handed over her responsibilities to the newly elected officer.
The Mustang DECA Chapter also received the following accolades during the awards ceremony:
