Learning Science Through Hands-On Discovery! 🌈
Mr. Riedel’s Physical Science classes completed their first lab of the year: Density Rainbows!
Students worked with their lab teams to safely measure, mix, and layer salt solutions to create colorful density columns while investigating how physical properties change when substances are mixed. 
Lab Goal: Build a density column and use observations to understand how water and salt interact.
Science Standard: Plan and conduct an investigation to provide evidence that physical properties change when substances are mixed.
What a colorful way to kick off the year of scientific discovery!
