HOSA Intern: Hayden Kim

HOSA Interns: Hayden Kim

HOSA is a brand-new club at Mustang High School this year, and its launch is thanks to the determination and vision of one outstanding student. HOSA is a student-led organization designed for future health professionals, and the chapter was created to ensure MHS students pursuing health careers—especially those unable to attend CV Tech—still have access to meaningful programs and opportunities at the high school level.

That student is Hayden Kim, the founding force behind MHS HOSA and the chapter’s president. Hayden has demonstrated exceptional leadership, perseverance, and passion for the health field. Through his dedication, along with the efforts of several other committed students, MHS HOSA has already gained attention from educators and organizations across the state for what the group has accomplished in its very first year. This recognition is especially impressive given that many HOSA chapters are funded through career tech programs, while MHS HOSA currently operates solely as a fundraising-based school club.

Hayden’s hard work has not gone unnoticed. He has recently been selected as a HOSA State Officer Intern for 2026—an achievement that is both highly competitive and remarkable to earn in such a short amount of time.

If you have Hayden in class or see him in the halls, be sure to congratulate him. He is one of the most humble, driven, and hardworking students you will meet, and we are incredibly proud of him and all he has accomplished.

MHS is proud of you! #mhs #mhshosa #mhsbroncos
