Bringing Imagination to Life at MHS

Sometimes learning starts with a simple drawing and ends with something unforgettable.

 

This year, Mrs. Pumford’s Fashion and Design students at Mustang High School partnered with Mustang Elementary School first graders for a project that brought imagination to life. First-grade students sketched their own original monsters, then passed those ideas along to the high school classroom. From there, felt, thread, and careful craftsmanship turned paper drawings into one-of-a-kind creations.

 

For our youngest learners, it was pure magic to see their ideas come to life. For our high school students, it was a lesson in design, problem-solving, and creating with a real purpose and audience in mind.

 

Projects like this remind us how powerful learning can be when students connect across grade levels and create something meaningful together. A big thank you to Ms. Pumford and our Mustang Elementary teachers for continuing a tradition that brings joy to both campuses.
