MPS & LaunchOK!

Good news travels faster when people share it, and this is one worth passing along.

Mustang Public Schools is part of LaunchOK, a state program that allows businesses, individuals, and couples to redirect a portion of their Oklahoma state tax liability directly into local schools and STEM programs. This program has existed since 2011, but many people still have no idea it is available.

Through LaunchOK, participants can receive up to a 75 percent Oklahoma state tax credit by choosing to support Mustang students. In many cases, the contribution may also be treated as a business expense. It is not an extra donation or new cost. It is simply a decision about where state tax dollars go.

These funds support STEM education, aerospace pathways, classroom innovation, and workforce development right here in Mustang.

Last month, MPS and LaunchOK shared this opportunity with local business leaders at the Mustang Chamber of Commerce Luncheon, highlighting how our students are preparing for high demand STEM and aerospace careers and how simple it is for businesses to participate.
