Mustang Fine Arts Students Earn More Than $845,000 in Scholarships and Tuition Assistance

(Mustang, Oklahoma – May 14, 2026) – Mustang Public Schools recently celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of its Fine Arts students during a special recognition event honoring graduating seniors who will continue their artistic pursuits at the collegiate level. Collectively, these students earned more than $845,000 in scholarships and tuition assistance offers for their achievements in visual arts, vocal music, instrumental music, and performance arts.

The event highlighted students who demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and artistic achievement throughout their time at Mustang Public Schools. Through auditions, portfolio reviews, and competitive selection processes, these students earned opportunities to continue developing their talents beyond high school.

“Throughout this school year, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the remarkable talent and dedication of each of these young artists, actors, and musicians,” said Dr. Michael Raiber, Director of Fine Arts for Mustang Public Schools. “Their achievements in their respective arts genres are truly exceptional.”

Dr. Raiber also recognized the educators who helped shape the students’ artistic journeys, noting the lasting impact of Fine Arts teachers across the district. “Their dedication, passion, and mentorship from the time these students were in elementary school to now have been invaluable in shaping the lives and futures of these students,” he said.

The celebration featured recognitions for students pursuing continued studies in vocal music, visual arts, and other Fine Arts disciplines, as well as recipients of the Jot Turner Memorial Scholarship.

Beyond the financial support awarded to students, district leaders emphasized the broader impact of Fine Arts education on student growth and future success.

“Mustang Public Schools is incredibly proud of these students and the countless hours they have invested in refining their craft,” said Superintendent Charles Bradley. “Their accomplishments reflect not only their individual talent and determination, but also the strength of our Fine Arts programs and the educators who inspire students to pursue excellence every day.”

Mustang Public Schools continues to prioritize Fine Arts education as an essential component of a well-rounded educational experience, offering students opportunities to grow creatively, collaborate with peers, and develop lifelong skills through the arts.
