At the recent Mustang Chamber Luncheon, Mustang Public Schools announced a new partnership with LaunchOK, creating a sustainable way for local businesses to invest directly in classrooms and strengthen STEM and aerospace education across the district.

We’re also proud to recognize Westpoint Homes as the first Mustang business to invest through LaunchOK, helping fund hands-on STEM and aerospace opportunities that inspire our next generation of innovators.

Mustang Public Schools is inviting local businesses to invest in our students’ futures with no extra out-of-pocket cost.

Through LaunchOK: The STEM & Aerospace Education Fund, Mustang is tapping into a little-known state program that has existed since 2011 but has flown under the radar for many companies. The program allows businesses to redirect their Oklahoma state income tax liability into local schools. In return, they receive up to a 75% state tax credit, and in many cases, they can also treat the contribution as a business expense.

In other words, it’s not a donation. It’s a choice in where your tax dollars go, and Mustang businesses now have a direct path to support STEM education, classroom innovation, and workforce development.

At the Monthly Mustang Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on October 23 at the Mustang Town Center (11:30am), MPS/LaunchOK spotlighted how local students are preparing for high-demand aerospace and STEM careers, and will walk business leaders through the simple process of participating in LaunchOK, with the goal of strengthening the future workforce pipeline while benefiting from smart financial incentives.  Check out the presentation!
