Mustang High School Senior Attends Prestigious USC Bovard Scholars Program

(Mustang, Oklahoma – September 22, 2022) – Over 2,000 high school students applied to be a part of the prestigious USC Bovard Scholar Program and Mustang High School Senior Amy Ha is one of the 127 Scholars for the 2022-23 school year.

From July 10th to July 30th, Amy attended the USC Bovard Scholars, a program that helps high-achieving students with financial need gain admission to and succeed at the nation’s top universities. This was a 3-week intensive where she stayed on-campus at the University of Southern California to attend daily classes regarding the college application process, interviews, career exploration, and more. All expenses were covered by the program, including boarding, meals, flight, etc.

"I owe my future college successes to this program; they have prepared me in full to tackle the CommonApp, secure scholarships, and make my senior year the most productive that it could possibly be,” Amy said.  “Overall, it was an amazing experience and I made connections I know I will need later in my life."
