πβ¨ MCMS Shines at FCCLA District STAR Events! β¨π
A huge congratulations to our Mustang Central Middle School students who competed in the FCCLA District STAR Events and brought home 1st place in their categories! ππ
These events showcase projects tied to Family and Consumer Sciences, with students working independently to create and present their work to judges. Here's what our incredible students accomplished:
π Payton Johns: New Member Facts
- Studied FCCLA information and took a test on competition day.
π Ellis Matlock: Job Interview Portfolio
- Created a portfolio applying for a babysitting job, including a resume, job application, business advertisement, and examples of skills and classwork.
π Jailyn Ford: Children's Literature
- Wrote a children’s book themed "Circus of Creativity" about a little girl learning to tie balloon animals from a clown.
All three students placed 1st in their categories and are heading to Regionals in January! ππ
We are so proud of these talented students for their hard work, creativity, and dedication. Good luck at Regionals, ladies! ππ€

πΊπ Hands-On History in Ms. Ralston’s Class! ππΊ
Students in Ms. Ralston's class at Meadow Brook Intermediate took a trip back in time to learn about Jamestown! With the help of Mrs. Pool, they became archaeologists for the day, digging for artifacts and uncovering pieces of history. π΅οΈβοΈβ¨
This hands-on activity brought history to life, sparking curiosity and excitement as students explored the past. What a fun and engaging way to learn! ππ€
