Title VI Parent Committee

Our Purpose

An essential part of our Indian Education program is our parent involvement.  Our Title VI Program could not function without our Indian Education Parent Advisory Committee (IEAC).  The IEAC gives recommendations to our program based on the needs of their Indian children.  We would like to encourage all of our parents, relatives, guardians, teachers, administrators, etc. to become involved in formulating and molding our Indian Education program to fit the needs of our Indian children in Mustang Public Schools.  We now hold one IEAC meeting per nine weeks.

The purpose of the IEAC shall be to assist the Mustang Public Schools in bringing about the most effective Indian Education Program possible.  To achieve this purpose, the IEAC shall provide advice and assistance to the Mustang Public School District in developing, operating and evaluating the Title VI project.  The establishment of and the work of the parent committee is intended to comply with the rules and regulations of the Title VI Indian Education Act.
