Young Men's Vocal Workshop (OU)

Manly Men

The young men of Horizon's Vocal Department will get to take a well-earned break from school on Friday, December 6th to travel to the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER!) to sing with HUNDREDS of other young men ranging from 6th grade to college! The boys will leave in the morning and will return back to Horizon shortly after 6pm or they can be picked up by their parent/guardian at the concert.

COSTS FOR EVENT:

- $30.00 Covers the cost of t-shirt, registration, and lunch.

**Disclaimer: You DO NOT have to be an OU fan to attend. Plenty of boys wear their OSU and Texas shirts.)

OU Men's Day Schedule

8:15 AM	Depart from Horizon
9:00 AM	Arrive at OU Catlett Music Center in Gothic Hall (Main entrance lobby)
9:15 AM	Registration. Teachers pick up materials and shirts. Students proceed into Sharp Hall to watch the OU Men’s Glee Club & Guests perform. (Directly through Gothic Hall into the theater doors)
10:00 -10:15 AM	Welcome in Sharp Hall
10:20 -11:00 AM	Rehearsal in Reynolds Performing Arts Center (across the street from Catlett)
11:00 - 11:30 AM	Lunch in Gothic Hall. Lunch is provided.
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM	Rehearsal in Reynolds Performing Arts Center (across the street from Catlett)
1:00 - 2:00 PM	Group Picture in OU Memorial Stadium. Students will walk to and from stadium in small groups with OU student helpers.
2:00 - 3:00 PM	Rehearsal in Reynolds Performing Arts Center (across the street from Catlett)
3:00 - 3:45 PM	Combined rehearsal in Sharp Hall
4:00 PM	Final Concert in Sharp Hall
4:30 PM	Conclusion of concert. Students load the bus and return to Horizon. A notification will be sent via REMIND giving ETA of students.
6:00 PM	Students arrive back at Horizon.
