Welcome to March. March means that Dr. Seuss has arrived in Kindergarten!! We are continuing to learn our letters and sounds. We are working on identifying middle and ending sounds in words, as well as working on sounding out and reading CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. Please make sure you are practicing our High Frequency Words (aka sight words) every night! We are working hard on counting to 100, addition, measurement (length, weight, height, etc.), and subtraction! Here are a few things to work on at home: reading CVC words, rhyming, counting to 100, coins, sight words, and reading with your child. Please check your child’s binder daily! We are looking forward to meeting with you during the upcoming parent teacher conferences.
