Hello and Welcome to Kindergarten! I am Lesha Doyle and I'm excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year!  This will be my 4th year teaching at Centennial Elementary, and my 6th year teaching Kindergarten. Before teaching, I was an Educational Sign Language Interpreter. I love being in the classroom and watching each and every child grow throughout the year!   I am looking forward to having an amazing year!
Please feel free to contact me anytime at [email protected]

Welcome to March. March means that Dr. Seuss has arrived in Kindergarten!! We are continuing to  learn our letters and sounds.  We are working on identifying middle and ending sounds in words, as well as  working on sounding out and reading CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. Please make sure you are practicing our High Frequency Words (aka sight words) every night! We are working hard on counting to 100, addition, measurement (length, weight, height, etc.), and subtraction! Here are a few things to work on at home: reading CVC words, rhyming, counting to 100, coins, sight words, and reading with your child. Please check your child’s binder daily! We are looking forward to meeting with you during the upcoming parent teacher conferences.
