Distance Learning Options
Choir! I miss you all tremendously and I'm super bummed we didn't get to close out the year with an awesome concert and bringing home trophies at contest. Your safety and health are the most important factors at this time and I'd much rather you be both safe and healthy than winning some contest any day. Below you will find some options to participate in if you'd like during the school day. (Ya know, after you've brushed up on your reading and math skills!)
We'll have a Google Meeting just for both choir classes every Friday at 1 PM.
I hope to see all of your smiling faces soon!
Be sure to look for an invite to Google Classroom for Choir OR add yourself with the class code!

Weekly options:
1. Hop on Google Classroom and do one of the 5 sight-reading options a day. Record yourself doing them and share them with me. I'd love to see your progress! Imaginery Bonus Points if you use solfege hand signs while recording!
2. Expand your musical tastebuds! Look up choral arrangements of songs you know or just choral songs of any style on YouTube and send them to me with an analysis of why you chose that, what made it interesting to you, and even critiquing the choir performing if you'd like.
3. Just sing! Sing anything! Sing anywhere! Singing in general is great practice as well as a great stress reliever! Send me videos of you singing if you want. Strangest place caught videoing might get a special shout out on my Instagram!
