Knowledge is Power

Remember,

Nov.10 thru 31, 2008

are posted daily.

On this page...

I will be posting weekly and up-coming activities but not specific assignments.  Many times we do not get to the work or pages that I may have planned, and it’s so much easier to catch up once you are back; rather than try to do an assignment that hasn’t been explained.

For the next several weeks in our class, we will be studying our Colonial America times...which means we will be preparing for COLONIAL AMERICA REVISITED! ! !  ! !! ! ! ! ! ! Please bear with me on the upcoming assignments, as they will be centered around this unit....which means fun, fun, fun, and wonderful learning experiences lie ahead.  I will be using curriculum from many sources to incorporate this unit.  This means weekly assignments will be difficult to pinpoint.  You will understand as you read on.....get ready>>>it’s going to be WONDERFUL!

Spelling:   Words for the weeks ahead will be vocabulary taken from colonial unit, and will be copied from the board.

Language Arts:  This week we will continue descriptive writing and basic grammer skills...

Social Studies:  Er...ah....humm...oh yes, I know....Colonial America Revisited....

Reading: Various literature and informational sources that support colonial content; this will also include on-going practice in the elements of reading.

                Love,

                Ms. M...
