Parent Committee:

An essential part of our Indian Education program is our parent involvement.  Our Title VII Program could not function without our Indian Education Parent Advisory Committee (IEAC).  The IEAC gives recommendations to our program based on the needs of their Indian children.  I would like to encourage all of our parents, relatives, guardians, teachers, administrators, etc. to become involved in formulating and molding our Indian Education program to fit the needs of our Indian children in Mustang Public Schools.  We now hold one IEAC meeting per semester.

2009-2010 Meeting Dates:

Spring Meeting
Public Hearing
@ MPS Administration Building
April 19, 4:00pm
The 2010-2011 grant will be presented and discussed for IEAC approval.
Parents, students, teachers, community members are invited to attend.

The establishment of and the work of the parent committee is intended to comply with the rules and regulations of the Title VII Indian Education Act.

The purpose of the IEAC shall be to assist the Mustang Public Schools in bringing about the most effective Indian Education Program possible.  To achieve this purpose, the IEAC shall provide advice and assistance to the Mustang Public School District in developing, operating and evaluating the Title VII project.
