The following course of study options are designed to prepare students for the successful completion of one or more of the Advanced Placement courses during the Junior and/or Senior years of high school. This is an accelerated program which begins with the Biology I course in the 8th grade and continues with the preparatory courses during the 9th and 10th grade years . Students may not enroll in an Advanced Placement course (AP Biology, AP Chemistry, or AP Physics) without having completed the prerequisite preparatory courses (Biology I, APP Botany/Zoology, and APP Chemistry) and any mathematics required as listed in the enrollment handbook. Accelerated students who wish to take a second science during the Junior or Senior year may choose courses such as Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biology II, and Physics I.
