STUDENT SAFETY CONTRACT
THIS IS THE CONTRACT SIGNED BY ALL
STUDENTS PRIOR TO OUR FIRST LAB ACTIVITY. SAFETY IS A PRIORITY AND
STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ABIDE BY THE RULES THAT HAVE BEEN PUT IN THE APPENDIX
SECTION OF THEIR SCIENCE NOTEBOOK.
I WILL:

follow all instructions given by the
teacher during a lab activity.

protect eyes, face, hands, and body
while conducting class activities.

carry out good housekeeping practices.
-
know to contact my teacher for first
aid and fire emergencies.

conduct myself in a responsible manner
at all times in a laboratory situation.
I, __________________________________________,
have read and agree to abide by the safety regulations as set forth above
and also any additional printed instructins provided by the teacher and/or
district. I further agree to follow all other written and verbal
instructions given in class. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting
my participation in that lab activity and possibly in future activities
and a possible deduction of points for my lab participation grade for that
day. Severe and /or chronic problems could result in my being referred
to the principal.
