Monday 13	Second Step- Our Counseling office will be teaching the students this program. This is from the Second Step website- It is a violence prevention program that integrates academics with social and emotional learning. Kids learn and practice vital social skills, such as empathy, emotion management, problem solving, and cooperation. These essential life skills help students in the classroom, on the playground, and at home.

General Class Information

There is no bonus work. Daily work makes up 65% of the grade and test account for 35%. Students who made a 75% or less have been given an opportunity to retake the Europe Test for a 75%. They have been given another completed study guide to prepare them for the make up test. If they memorize their study guide they should do very well on their make up test.

Class News

I’m am very excited about all of my classes the students are great and we appear headed for another great year! You’re children have been very polite and eager to learn. We are now learning about Ancient Greece your student should be able to tell you about some of the mythology we have read in class together.
