Tips & Tricks for Success:

1.  Parents should periodically check students' notebooks -
Help students file graded papers in date order
2.  Check student's agenda and on-line to help students keep up with assignment and project deadlines.
Students should write their assignments for each class in their agendas on a daily basis for their own benefit.
Usually daily assignments aren't due until the next day so parents may want to require
students to bring home their notebooks each night to verify students finished their
assignments in class.  (Homework is only the work the student did not finish during
classtime & most assignments are due the following day.)
3.  Help students organize their Bell Work in date order (This warm-up review activity is called DARES, GOOP,
& GIF, depending on the class.)  Students are to write this activity in their notebooks each day for practice.
There will be a short quiz over this at the end of the 9 weeks.

4.  Check the back of students' agendas from time to time for AR reading goals and periodic averages in most
     classes.
5.  Sign up to receive our team news email.  Project deadlines and important info will be emailed to you.
