Parent News: Dress-Up Days & Fundraiser Pickup

Parents and Students,

We hope that you had a wonderful Spring Break.  Attached is the latest Parent Newsletter_S2_03_26_18  with details about this week's SPIRIT DRESS UP DAYS to celebrate our Teacher of the Year - Mrs. Stout.   Monday is "Hats off to Mrs. Stout," so students can enjoy wearing their craziest, silliest or simply their favorite hats on Monday for free.   There are fun dress-up days everyday, so check out the newsletter and enjoy the celebration!

Popcorn fundraiser is being delivered and will be available for parent pick up in our CRI cafeteria from 3:15-6:00pm this coming Wednesday.  Thank you so much for your support.  Profits will be used to purchase additional technology.

Be sure to check the LOST & FOUND this week.  It is overflowing, and it is our goal to get everything back to students, but clothing not picked up will be donated in early April.  Please contact the front office 405-256-6955 if your child is ill this week and unable to check the Lost and Found so we can help you look for lost items.

Over Spring Break, many of our classrooms had Smart Boards installed!  Thank you for your past vote.  Bond dollars directly benefit your children.  Canyon Ridge now has 16 mobile charging carts full of 30 Chromebooks each & now has Smart Boards in almost all classrooms.  Over Spring Break, Smart Boards were installed in Communication, Spanish, Leadership and all ELA classrooms thanks to BOND DOLLARS! Smart Boards are used with students for interactive activities, lessons, and educational games as well as students’ presentations to peers.  It is our goal to put the most technology possible into the hands of all of our students to prepare them for the future.

If you have questions or concerns, please call the front office to speak with the counselors or principals.   We care very much about your child and are all here to help.

Very sincerely,

Kathy Blackwell & Ryan Waggoner, principals
