Welcome Back & Reminder of Car Rider Procedures

Dear Parents and Students,

Mr. Waggoner, teachers and I look forward to seeing kids back to school tomorrow and hope everyone has had a wonderful break!

We know Canyon Ridge traffic is a challenge and want to extend a huge thank you for following procedures.
We do want to remind parents that it is unsafe for students to be dropped off on main, city  or neighborhood streets.  It is still fine for cars to make the circle around the neighborhood island to drive south on Sara Road, but traffic must remain flowing and safe for parents who are driving, for students, and for homeowners.  Please remember that no students are to be dropped off or picked up from the housing addition across the street.  Students who are car-riders are to enter and exit through south cafeteria and car-rider doors before and after school.

With the current cold temperatures, we hope everyone is staying warm and safe.  Ensure your student wears his or her coat to school each day, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need assistance in providing a coat for your child.  We have missed the students and are looking forward to a wonderful second semester full of learning and fun.

Very sincerely,

Kathy Blackwell, principal
