Representatives from Burlington Stores presented the check to Principal, Leah Anderson, Assistant Principal, Jessika Hill, and Superintendent, Charles Bradley during an assembly on Monday morning.   A representative from AdoptAClassroom.org contacted school administrators and helped to secure the donation for Creek, which will provide $10,000 in new supplies for teachers’ classrooms.Burlington Presents Check To Creek Staff

According to Principal Anderson, “the teachers will use the funds on a number of new classroom items ranging from technology to manipulatives.  On behalf of the Mustang Creek and Mustang Public Schools, I would like to thank Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org for adopting our entire school.  Our teachers look forward to using the funds to enhance learning in our school and in their classrooms. We are thankful for this support from Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org.”

Burlington, in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, makes a donation to a local school in each Grand Opening market to celebrate a new store location. The Burlington store opened last week on October 25 at 821 N. Czech Hall Road in Oklahoma City; the store is located just south of Academy Sports in the Czech Hall Marketplace.

About Burlington
“Burlington is a national off-price retailer offering style for less at up to 65 percent off other retailers’ prices every day,” according to the company’s website. “Departments include ladies’ dresses, suits, sportswear, juniors, accessories, menswear, family footwear and children’s clothing.”  The company, then known as Burlington Coat Factory, opened its first outlet store in 1972 in Burlington, N.J. Costs were the primary offering at the original Burlington store, but over time the concept has evolved into a one-stop shopping experience that spans over more than 600 stores nationwide.  Yukon will be Burlington’s fourth store in central Oklahoma, with others on NW 63rd and S Shields in Oklahoma City and SE 15th in Midwest City.
Sooner Investment is the owner and developer of Czech Hall Marketplace.  On the border between Yukon and Oklahoma City, Czech Hall Marketplace services both Oklahoma City and the growing, bustling Yukon.
