Q: Do I bring school supplies with us to schedule pickup?

A: No, you will have an opportunity to walk the building and meet some teachers; however, the classrooms will be closed to parents and students.

Q: Will there be another day to pick-up schedules besides August 12?

A: Starting Monday, August 14, you can stop by the front office at Horizon to pick-up schedules from 8:00 - 12:00 and 1:00 - 3:30. Due to teacher professional development, the building will not be open to parents and students to walk through.

Q: How do I get information I missed from the August 12 parent meetings?

A: The slide show and other information given at these meetings will be posted on our Horizon web page by Monday, August 14.

Q: What do I do if my child wants to change his/her schedule?

A: Schedule change request forms will be available on August 12 and in the office starting August 14. Schedule changes will be considered only if it meets the schedule change requirements attached to request forms. 

Q: Can I send special treats to school on my child's birthday?

A: No. We do not allow students to bring treats to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays; however, there may be special projects or assignments that include bringing snacks and/or treats. The teachers will communicate with parents if they need such items.

Q: Can I bring food or a special lunch for my child and his/her friends to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, etc.

A: Mustang Student Handbook outlives that outside food and drink brought by parents/guardians may only be consumed by his/her child and cannot be shared with other students.
