Mustang Public Schools
Professional Development

At Mustang Public Schools, our number one goal is student growth and achievement. Mustang's Professional Development Committee coordinates district-wide training for the teachers and administators. Besides training conducted by MPS staff, nationally-known trainers have also come to the district.

Throughout the year, individuals and small groups of teachers may request to attend off-site training specific to their discipline, such as middle-level math or special education. Those requests go through the Professional Development Committee for approval. Attendees are often asked to present the material they learned to other teachers in the district.
