Welcome To The MEC!
Welcome to the Mustang Public Schools Education Center! We are a unique building that houses a pre-kindergarten program for four year olds and an alternative education program for high school students. This former nursing facility was purchased by the district from a federal housing department for $10 and remodeled for its current use. More than 600 students rotate through the building on a daily basis.

Bullying and Reporting Information

Bullying Information, Reporting Information, and MPS Board Policy

Bullying means any pattern of harassment, intimidation, threatening behavior, or physical act, directed toward a student or group of students that results in or is reasonably perceived as being done with the intent to cause negative educational or physical results for the targeted individual or group and is communicated in such a way as to disrupt or interfere with the school’s educational mission or the education of any student.

Reporting

There are two ways to report bullying.

    • A student may report bullying to a teacher, counselor, or school administrator
    • A student may anonymously report bullying by picking up a bullying reporting form and may be turned in to the reporting box.
