Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment is an option that enables Mustang students to earn college credit while still in high school. Students can enroll through Redlands Community College the summer before their senior year. Students can take six hours of concurrent enrollment at Redlands TUITION FREE each semester. Eligible students must have a 3.0 GPA, acceptable test scores and be finished with their junior year of high school.

Contact your MHS counselor for more information on concurrent enrollment.

Several concurrent classes are offered on the MHS campus. First semester Redlands courses offered on the MSH campus include government and psychology. In the second semester, students can enroll in psychology, college algebra and college American history.

Students who would like to take advantage of concurrent enrollment on the Redlands campus can take anything offered as long as they meet admission standards. An hour from their class schedule is reserved for travel time. Students who begin taking concurrent enrollment classes the summer before their senior year can earn three to six hours of college credit and only have to pay for their books.
