Local businesses make Renaissance program a success

Several area businesses have made contributions to Mustang Public School’s Renaissance Program for the first nine weeks. The Renaissance program encourages academic excellence by rewarding students who earn As and Bs. Renaissance recognizes approximately 2,000 students every year for outstanding academic achievement thanks to the generosity of local merchants.

Contributing businesses include: Mustang High School Athletics, Petal Pushers LTD, co, Pet Lovers, Mustang Animal Health Clinic, Dr. Glenn Partin, Mustang Optical, Dr. Phillip D. Grimes, Angel Nails and Salon, Sid Johnson, DDS, Mustang Optical, Venus’ Closet, McDonald’s, Mazzio’s Pizza, OKC Cellular at 543 E. Hwy. 152, Marolyn Pryor Realtors, Vickers’ Photography, Intrust Bank, Mustang Automotive and Advantage Insurance Group.

To become a sponsor of the program and promote academic achievement in Mustang’s secondary schools, contact Geoff Kingsley, 376-2461. Donations can include a one-time monetary gift, coupons for free items like a drink with the purchase of a meal or discounts on goods or services.
