Stacy Mattingly, EL Specialist

My name is Stacy Mattingly. I am beginning my 11th year at Mustang Public Schools. I have been teaching EL for the last 6 years. Prior to that I taught Special Education. I have taught for a total of 25 years, 14 of them in Texas.

This year I am excited to begin a new adventure at both Middle Schools. I am looking forward to working with the 7th and 8th grade EL students.

Here is a little about myself. I moved to Mustang in 1978 with my family. I attended Mustang schools from 2nd grade on. I married my high school sweetheart, who also graduated from Mustang. His name is Mike Mattingly. We have been married for 31 years. We have a daughter who just turned 27. Her name is Kelsee. She graduated from Mustang in 2010. We have a fabulous fur baby named Macy. She loves to go places with us. For my spare time, I enjoy reading books, crocheting, and needle work. My family means the world to me, so we spend a lot of time together traveling or just visiting.
