Certified Salaries
Certified Staff Salaries At Mustang Public Schools Are Aligned With The State’s Salary Schedule.
Compensation and Benefits
Three tier salary schedule: Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate
Up to five years experience from out of state public schools
Additional stipend for special education teachers
Mentor teacher stipend
Extra duty for sponsors, coaches, department head, and others
Semi-monthly pay
District-paid life insurance policy valued at $15,000
District-paid Teacher Retirement System contribution
State-paid health insurance benefit for employee
Personal leave benefit of three days
Sick leave benefit of ten days per academic year
Bereavement leave benefit of up to six days per year for immediate family
Attendance incentive offered at the end of academic year
IRS Section 125 Plan options available for payroll deduction
Sick Leave Bank
Leave without pay option
Leave of Absence option
Jury Duty/Legal Proceedings benefit available
Family Medical Leave (FMLA) benefit
Duty-free lunch of a minimum of 30 minutes per day
Preparation time: elementary – 275 minutes per week; secondary – length of a scheduled instructional period per day
Class size in accordance with current State Laws
Support Salaries
Support Salaries Are Determined By The Job Responsibilities And The Length Of The Day Worked.
Compensation and Benefits
Leave based on the hour requirement of a particular job (i.e., one day of leave for a four-hour employee is equivalent to four hours)
Vacation leave accrues monthly
Personal leave benefit of three days per academic year
Bereavement leave benefit of up to six days per year for immediate family
Sick leave accrues annually
