Strength & Conditioning This course is designed to familiarize the student to an approach for athletic conditioning and strength training. Students will be instructed in basic principles of strength training and conditioning for personal fitness and development. The course focus is on strength training which includes instruction in lifts and principles of strength training and conditioning.
PE Classes will learn strength, agility, and conditioning, workouts which may include opportunities to use the weight stations for personal preference/individualized workouts. Each student will participate in physical fitness testing/evaluation. Classes will play team sports which may include: basketball, Bronco ball, flag football, kickball, team handball, soccer, softball, ultimate Frisbee, and volleyball. Students may engage in individual sports and activities such as archery, badminton, bowling, disc golf, fishing, pickle ball, table tennis, tennis, and track/field events. Student grades will be determined with written and/or skills tests and daily participation points.
