Hello, My name is Marcelina Sutton and I am excited to be teaching Functional Skills at Meadow Brook Intermediate! I am from Oklahoma City and currently reside there. I graduated from Northwest Classen High School in the OKCPS district and I received my Bachelors Degree from Oklahoma State University in Recreational Therapy. Before coming here I worked as a Recreational Therapist with children and adolescents for 13 years at St. Anthony's Behavioral Hospital and continue to hold that certification. Life happened and I decided to switch gears towards my true passion and join the Special Education field, where I have completed the Bootcamp to Special Education program through OSDE and SNU.

I am a homebody by nature and I love spending time with my family! I love my family, my dogs, music, traveling, sports, OKC Thunder, working with children, and lots of laughter :) I have been married to my husband for 11 years and we have 2 beautiful boys that attend Mustang Trails Elementary. I’ve known for a while that Special Education is my calling and I am so blessed to finally have the opportunity to work with this wonderful group of children! I am so excited to see what each year brings and I can't wait to work with my students!
