Lynette Carel

Hi! My name is Lynette Carel and I am delighted to be your child’s Social Studies teacher this school year. I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. This will be my 14th year of teaching. I am currently attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University where I am working on my Master's degree in Educational Administration. I am a proud mom of three amazingly unique kids. My oldest, Daniel, who is serving in the United States Navy and twins Hannah and Naomi who attend High School. I also have two wonderful fur babies, Ginger a minature poodle and Arya a gray tabby. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, running and listening to music.

I understand that this is a transitioning year from the elementary level to the intermediate and want your child’s experience to be both rewarding and memorable. In order to keep communication open, I am offering a few resources which will answer questions regarding the day to day activities happening in your child’s class.

I have included a section which contains my email address and phone number should you wish to contact me. I utilize a service called “Remind” which allows you as the parent to sign up for text message alerts pertaining to your child’s class, information such as “test on Friday” or “field trip” are just a couple of examples of reminders you would have access to.

Mustang Public Schools website offers a link called “Parent Portal”. This is where you have access to your child’s grades and can view their progress.

It’s A Great Day to be a Bronco!

Ms. Carel
