Hello Parents,
First off, let me say welcome. I am excited for the new year. My name is Mrs. Janzen and I have been teaching for 4 years. This is my 2nd year teaching Kindergarten and my 2nd year here at Centennial. I graduated from UCO and began teaching at Destiny Christian in Pre-K. I was also the Varsity head coach for the girls basketball team where I won back to back State Championships and Runner-up at Nationals in Pennsylvania. I am a huge sports fan and my favorite team is the St. Louis Cardinals. I have 2 kids living at home (5 total) and 4 grandkids. I love teaching and I LOVE Centennial Elementary!
Kindergarten is such a fun time and we learn so much in a year. This month, we are already diving into letters and sight words. We will also be learning nursery rhymes. I can't wait to see all of them grow. I believe that this will be an amazing year and I can't wait to get started.
