About me

About me

Welcome!

I am Karie Greenwood, the Indian Education teacher at Valley, Creek and Elementary.  I also handle the paperwork for MEC.

I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University. I am married and we have two wonderful grown daughters.  Our oldest daughter is the mother of our only grandchild and my youngest one was married this summer.  When I'm not working, I love to scrapbook, sew, and spend time with my sweet granddaughter.
Our Program

Our Program

Our program is funded by a Federal Grant to provide math and reading help to Native American students with a 506 form on file.

Eligibility is  determined by the 506 Form; services are determined by test scores on the screener.  Once the test is completed, we begin to rank the students who did not meet the benchmark.  I will coordinate with other title teachers in the building to ensure we can see as many students as possible.  In working with the classroom teacher, we will choose a time that the student can be pulled out to work on the area that is difficult for them.

I will notify you if your student is recommended for our pull out program

Further information can be found on our District Website at:

Contact Information

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if there is something I can assist you with.

My phone number: 376-2491  x7997 or call your school and leave a message.

Because I travel in the district and don't have a phone at each school, email or leave a message with the secretary  is the quickest way to find me.   I am planning to be at Valley on Monday and Friday, Creek on Tues and Thurs afternoon, Elementary on Wed. and Thurs .morning.
