About Mrs. Hasty

Welcome to a new and exciting school year!!!  My name is Mrs. Hasty and I have the pleasure of teaching your amazing child this year.  I teach a variety of subjects and within several classrooms.  I have the honor of teaching collaboratively with Mr. Waggoner (Math) and Ms. Kasserman (ELA) each day and teaching Science and Social Studies in my own classroom.  I am delighted to be teaching these classes and I look forward to watching your child grow in all areas!!

      A little bit about myself...

This is my 18th year of teaching!! I consider it an honor to say that I have spent my entire teaching career within the Mustang School District. I spend a great amount of time at school but when I am not at school I am enjoying time with my family. I have a wonderful husband who also shares my passion for education. He has been in education for the last 24 years.  I am thrilled to say he is also a Mustang Bronco AND that he teaches at Meadow Brook too!!!  We are extremely excited to be teaching, collaborating and growing professionally within the same building.  Besides our “school kids”, my husband and I have also been blessed with two kids of our own. Our daughter and son-in-law just recently moved to Portland, OR.  We are still getting used to the distance and have already made a trip to see them.  Our son is a junior at Mustang High School who is looking forward to graduating and pursuing a degree in engineering.

I am truly blessed to work with your child each day and I am eager to see all they accomplish this year! I am confident this will be phenomenal year for us all!
