Everyday Mathematics is a research-based curriculum developed by the University of Chicago School Mathematics program funded by a National Science Foundation grant. In this program, children learn and understand why math is important and explain how they get their answers. Different strategies and methods are taught to develop problem solving skills and students are engaged in real-world math applications.
