Statement of Rights


Students across the nation are required to memorize the Statement of Rights from the Declaration of Independence to honor our Veterans during Celebrate Freedom Week.  CRI Social Studies students were given the passage to memorize on Tuesday, October 29 (A classes) and Wednesday, October 30 (B classes).  They are required to recite it in class on Friday, November 8 (A classes) and Monday November 11 (B classes).  Students are allowed to recitie it early if they are able.  Happy memorizing!

   Welcome to 5th grade Social Studies. I am Holly Jackson, and this is my 15th year to teach fifth grade. I am looking forward to a great year. American history and government are very near and dear to my heart. Get ready to learn a lot and have some fun on the way!
   I have been married to Josh, my high school sweetheart, for 17 years.  We have two amazing daughters, Aubrey (10), and Analeigh (6). We love OU football, playing at the lake, and serving in our church. My absolute favorite thing on earth is COFFEE. Okay, I love my family more than coffee, but it's a tight race. Let's have a wonderful year together.
