Below you will find our content-specific Continuous Learning Plans. These plans have been thoughtfully developed with input/help from district administration, site administration, curriculum coordinators, counselors, teachers, surveys to patrons, and guiding resources provided by the OSDE, and are aligned to our Oklahoma Academic Standards.
We do not expect families to replicate the teacher/classroom experience. Instead, in each content plan, you will find 5 weeks of learning tasks, and additional directions/instructions (i.e., accessing GoogleClassroom).
For Grades 7-12 Mustang will be utilizing technology, paper packets, as well as the OETA programming.
Content will be shared out to students and parents through GoogleClassroom, school/district websites, OETA/PBS programming, and paper packets available as needed.
Teachers will make themselves available at scheduled times during the week through GoogleClassroom and GoogleVoice to help answer questions and be a resource to students/parents.
Communication will be sent out at the district, site, and classroom level to make sure parents/students are informed of the resources and opportunities.
Alt Ed students will continue to utilize their standard curriculum platform of Edgenuity with teachers in all core content areas to guide and support students for the remainder of the semester.
AP teachers will utilize College Board resources, practice exams and Kaplan resources in order to prepare for end of the year AP exams.
Grades were frozen as of March 12, 2020.
Students grades will remain the same for their Spring semester grade, however in the event that a student and/or parent contact the teacher, they can request a plan for the student to work and to potentially increase their grade.
If a student has an F in any class, that teacher will contact the student/parent to let them know of a plan for the student to increase their grade.
Your student’s teacher should be in contact with you throughout this continued learning experience. They will be connecting with your family through emails, phone calls, GoogleClassroom or virtual chats. They are available to guide and support, answer any questions you might have, and to stay connected to your student’s learning.
Teachers are available via email Monday through Friday of each week.
When the MPS Board of Education determines our final day of the school year, additional information with end-of-year learning activities will be shared/available.
Please come back often as new resources will be added. Also, don’t forget to check out your school’s website and social media posts on Facebook and Instagram for messages from teachers and principals, updates, and to stay connected with your learning community!
