Gina Thompson

Ms. Thompson is in her 7th year at Mustang Public Schools and has been teaching band for too many years to count. This year she is assisting with the high school marching band, directing the concert band at MMS, assisting the wind ensemble at MMS, teaching beginning flute and clarinet at Horizon, and directing the symphonic band at MMS. 
 
Ms. Thompson has a bachelors in instrumental music education from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Masters in Music from Oklahoma State University.
 
In her free time, which is limited, Ms. Thompson likes to binge watch shows on Netflix and Hulu, listen to music, go out with friends and see Movies.
 
Ms. Thompson's daily schedule is:
 
6:50AM to 9:10AM - First Hour High School Band (at MHS)
9:34AM to 10:24AM - 2nd Hour Concert Band at MMS (at MMS)
10:28AM to 11:18AM - assist with 3rd hour wind ensemble (at MMS)
11:22AM to 11:52AM - Lunch
11:54AM to 12:48PM - Planning 
12:54PM to 1:34PM - Beginning Flute Class (at Horizon)
1:38PM to 2:18PM - Beginning Clarinet Class (at Horizon)
2:45PM to 3:35PM - 7th Hour Symphonic Band (at MMS)
