Meadow Brook Clubs and Organizations
 
P.A.L.S. consists of selected 6th grade students that will collaborate with other students and teachers to promote a positive school community.  These students will be required to uphold our school values by showing GRIT at all times.  GRIT stands for goal driven, respectful, integrity, and treating others kindly.  They must also stay on top of their school work and grades.  P.A.L.S. students will be asked to organize and participate in several activites throughout the year.  If you have any questions please contact our P.A.L.S. advisor Jennifer Edwards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Students will fill out an application to join the Yearbook Club.  Students may be in 5th or 6th grade.  During yearbook club students will work on collaborating, organizing, and designing the yearbook for Meadow Brook Intermediate.  They will be requried to meet specific deadlines and will need to be self-disciplined as they will also be responsible for taking pictures.  If you have any questions you may contact the yearbook advisor, Taylir Thompson.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Academic Team will conist of 5th and 6th grade students that enjoy competing     in academic meets or quiz bowls.  They will be required to answer questions on   topics such as; history, literature, science, math, pop culture, and current events. Students will benefit from exposure from a broad range of school and cultural     subjects, memorization, study skills, cooperating and working in teams. Robotics club is for 5th and 6th grade students interested in learning and working with robots.  Students will work collaboratively in teams to build and program their robot.  Students will have the opportunity to enter a robotics competition in which they will be required to compete againt opponents in a series of specific challenges.  If you have any questions you may contact head coaches Leslie Madrid or Clarissa Clanahan.  
 
 
 
 
 
Honor Choir includes 60 5th and 6th graders that must audition to join.  Auditions are held at the beginning of the year.  Rehearsals for honor choir are held on Wednesday's from 3:05-4:00.  Honor Choir students will have the opportunity to participate in Circle the State with Song (CTSWS).  These practices will be held on Monday's after school.  Students must be self-starters with a fair amount of discipline as they will be required to practice thier music on their own time as well.  If you have any questions you may contact music instructor Hanna Crandell.
 
 
 
Archery club is designed to expand on the basic archery skillls that are taught as part of our physical education curriculum. Students who are not in PE may still sign up to join archery club.  The top archers on the team will go as a competition team to compete at an archery tournament againt other schools in Mustang.  If you have any questions you may contact physical education instructors Jason Hasty or Chris Ridgeway.
